My first TV Bulletin

Today was my first time in presenting a live TV bulletin. As a shy girl, being in front of the camera isn’t the easiest of tasks. I let generally doesn’t run as smoothly as it could. After all, I’ve always seen myself as a behind the camera type.

This time last year I wrote a similar blog post on representing my first radio bulletin. At the time I was incredibly nervous, but now it seems silly.

Nevertheless, when I read that I was on the TV Bulletin (which is live!!) my heart may have stopped beating for a brief second.

Somehow through the my first year, I’d managed to avoid being on the team. So the TV desk had become a much scarier area. After all I had no experience and no idea what to do!

But reading the bulletin was one of the most enjoyable days I’ve had at university.

  1. Well done – you were so brave doing that! I’m like that too. Any presenting in front of people scares me. But once it’s done I feel great about being able to do it. Glad you’re enjoying uni life πŸ˜‰
